To our Customers,
We are taking this opportunity to update you regarding the future of Toy Trains and Collectibles. For the past ten years, we have enjoyed being your Metropolitan D.C. area hobby shop. We’ve enjoyed working with you to promote the hobby, and move it forward for the next generation of model railroaders. Over the years our customers have become great friends, and we’ve enjoyed getting to know everyone. We’ve also enjoyed the support of and supporting our long time friends in the hobby. At this time, we have decided to permanently retire and enjoy spending more time with our three children, their spouses and seven grandchildren.
Toy Trains and Collectibles will continue to be open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays through Saturday, August 31, 2024.
At that time our store will close, and no further inventory will be available for sale. Our inventory will be discounted 25%* off the ticketed price between August 1 and August 31, 2024.Pre-orders and Special Orders will be delivered,if available, through August31, 2024.Please contact us regarding the status of your outstanding Pre-orders, Special Orders and Lay-a-ways. All Repairs must also be picked up by August 31, 2024. Items not picked up by August 31, 2024,will become property ofToy Trains and Collectibles. Pre-orders, Special Orders, Lay-a-ways and Repairs not picked up by August 31, 2024, will be disposed of or liquidated at the discretion ofToy Trains and Collectibles. Following August 31, 2024, any unsold inventory will be returned to our distributors or sent out for online auction.
